About the Department of Medical Physics

The Department of Medical Physics is one of the departments of the College of Science at Al-Qadisiyah University. The department was established in 2022-2023. The curriculum that the department offers to the student qualifies him to work in the medical field in the future, providing professional assistance in the field of medical imaging, medical devices, including MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, and most of the devices in the medical field, as well as radiation therapy and physical therapy. The student who graduates from the department will be eligible to work in institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the medical departments affiliated with the Ministry of Interior.
