DIGESTIVE SYSTEMGeneral description of the digestive system and its embryological development. Mouth cavity and its content like the tongue and hard palate and soft palate with its muscles and cheeks and lips, blood and nerve supply of the tongue. Salivary glands, pharynx and its layers and muscles and openings. The hyoid apparatus (bones and muscles ). Muscles of mastication. Course and relationship of esophagus and its structures. Classification of stomach, parts of the intestine, duodenum, jejunum, ileum. The caecum and its variations in farm animals. Colon and its variations in farm animals, rectum, anus. Accessory glands like the liver and its ligaments and lobation, gallbladder and the variations in farm animals. Pancreas and its variations. Peritoneum its reflexation in the abdominal cavity to fix the abdominal organs.         ٢٠
