Criterion 3: Waste Management and Recycling<\/p>\n

Regarding Criterion 3: Waste Treatment and Recycling, the College of Science implements several specialized programs aimed at managing waste efficiently and sustainably.
\nIn the area of organic waste management, the college operates designated fermentation tanks that process organic waste and convert it into natural fertilizers used in campus green areas. This practice supports the principles of circular economy and environmental sustainability.
\nThe college has also adopted a program to reduce paper and plastic usage across its facilities by providing separate containers for paper and plastic waste, ensuring they are not mixed with general waste. These materials are then processed and recycled properly in cooperation with environmental authorities.
\nConcerning non-organic waste such as batteries and metals, these are collected and stored in sealed containers to be safely treated or disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations.
\nFor hazardous waste, especially from scientific laboratories such as chemistry, biology, environmental science, medical physics, and pathology labs, the college uses clearly labeled, specialized containers for safe storage until they are transferred to authorized facilities for appropriate treatment and disposal<\/p>\n
